Meet Our Cats & Kittens
Please consider a donation via PayPal. All donations help cover the cost of food, medicine, veterinarian fees, and anything else we may need at the shelter!
We are always in need of volunteers at the shelter. Even if you are only able to commit to a few hours a week, there is plenty of work to be done: cleaning cages, changing food and water, socializing with the cats and kittens, and helping us with fundraising efforts.
Due to liability reasons, you must be 16 years of age older to volunteer inside the shelter working with the cats. If you are under 16, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We need foster homes for short-term placement of pregnant cats and mother cats with new kittens. Often times, there is just no room for them at the shelter so they need a temporary, safe, and warm place to go. They don't need much, just a quiet corner of your home where they can be out of the cold and rain and away from the ever-increasing population of predators like foxes and coyotes.
By providing a temporary home for these little ones, you will give these animals a chance at a life that they might not otherwise have. If you have older children, this is a great way to teach them about animals and a wonderful opportunity for them to see kittens being born or how a mother cat feeds, washes, and cares for her babies.
When the kittens are old enough to be on their own, we find the best possible permanent homes for both the kittens and their moms, so it's not a long-term commitment - usually just a few weeks and rarely a few months. We provide everything that is needed from food and litter to medicine and vet care. All we need is you!
